In Delhi’s Sarai Kale Khan area, a retired army officer informed the police control room about a girl lying depressed on the road. Delhi Crime Police arrested three accused in this case after 21 days of hard work. To nab the accused, the police team analyzed the footage of more than 700 CCTV cameras installed in the area and questioned more than 150 auto drivers.A teenage girl was raped in Delhi’s Sarai Kale Khan area. Among those arrested, Pramod works as a rag picker and the other accused Shamshul works as a beggar. The third accused Prabhu is an auto driver. During interrogation, Delhi Police got information that Pramod Kabadi had seen a mentally disturbed girl wandering around alone. He then raped her at a secluded place in the ITO area. In this entire incident, the police examined 700 CCTV camera footage and interrogated around 150 auto drivers, after which the accused were identified within 21 days and all three were arrested and jailed by the police on charges of gang rape. The police also recovered the autorickshaw used in the incident.
